What you see here is our reception area, bar, restaurant, games room, reading room, lookout point… Originally planned as a bar in which we would also serve snacks and small meals, Uwe‘s cooking and Kate‘s baking have turned this into a well-loved location to spend an afternoon of eating, drinking, talking, maybe with time off for a quick visit to the beach before afternoon coffee or tea and dessert. Come up on a Sunday to enjoy a pancake breakfast and some classical music, or join us in the evening to share stories with the other cottage guests. The restaurant is open to the public Thursdays through Sundays from noon until 5 p.m. and evenings on reservation. For our cottage guests, we also serve breakfasts and dinners on request.
